Hawaiian Chicken

A hawaiian chicken recipe that is literally straight from my Grandma’s kitchen to yours!

Hawaiian Chicken Ingredients

200g chicken pieces, skinned, boned and diced

tin of pineapple pieces

1 carrot, sliced

1 onion, sliced

1 clove of garlic, very finely chopped

1 green capsicum, chopped

toasted slivered almonds

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 tablespoons of soy sauce


Hawaiian Chicken Method

Stew chicken pieces in a little water with carrot and onion.

Thicken juice with cornflour.

Gently fry drained pineapple, capsicum, garlic & almonds.

Add soy sauce to the chicken mixture – adjust to suit taste.

Add extra pineapple juice if necessary.

Voila!  Tasty and nutritious!
