Notes
Tips
Frozen soft fruits have more liquid compared to fresh ones adding lots of additional flavours. Let them thaw at room temperature to allow the natural fruit juices to come out. This can be added to the Overnight Oats when ready to eat.
If the oat looks dry, add milk. Adjusting to your required thickness.
Try mixing some of the frozen mixed berries with the rest of the ingredients and let it thaw in the fridge while the oat is soaking. Or place some at the bottom of the jar covered with the oat mixture, or on the top of the oat mixture before placing the jar in the fridge overnight.
You may even add frozen mixed berries to soaked oats when ready to serve and warm it all up in the microwave.
It is fun to eat frozen mixed berries over creamy overnight oats without thawing them, especially during hot summer days.
