Indulge your breakfast cravings with these irresistible Nutella waffles, where every bite offers the perfect balance of crispy golden edges and a luscious, creamy Nutella center.
2 tablespoon quick release ice cream scoop optional, but preferred
Waffle maker
Measuring cups & spoons
Cooking spray
Ingredients
2cupsall purpose flour
½cupbrown sugar
1tablespoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
1cupwhole milk
2eggs
½cupNutella
Toppings
extra Nutella
1sliced banana
strawberries
Instructions
Preheat your waffle maker.
Mix together all of the dry ingredients.
Make a well in the middle and add all of the wet ingredients, stir well.
Spray your waffle maker with cooking spray.
Measure about ⅓ cup of the waffle batter and pour into the center of the waffle maker.
Use your 2 tablespoon ice cream scoop (if you have one) and quickly place Nutella in the middle of the batter in the waffle maker.
Take another ⅓ cup batter and cover the Nutella with it, then close the lid and let it cook.
Once the waffle is fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes, remove your waffle from the waffle iron.
Repeat steps 5-8 until all batter is gone.
Allow to cool slightly, add the toppings of your choice and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days, these taste best the first day they are made.If you don’t have a waffle maker that has a light indicating when the waffles are done, then you can check if it’s done when you see steam or when the waffle maker expands slightly due to the waffle being done.This recipe can be made in any regular waffle maker. If your waffle maker doesn’t make 6 inch round waffles, and makes large or smaller waffles, you will have to adjust the amount of batter and Nutella to fit you waffle size.
