Heya, I’m Bella.
The aim of my website is to share food that is both quick and easy to make, yet healthy and nutritious while keeping an eye on the budget! It is a lot to juggle, I know. 🙂
I studied food and nutrition at Texas A&M (Go Aggies!) and try to apply what I learned to my recipes.
I started my food journey with my picky first born eater. Like many mothers, I wanted to serve healthy and nutritious food for my kids, but my first born was such a fussy eater.
This website started many years ago as a place to share recipes with friends and family and it just grew and grew. I am still working on updating the recipes from the archives. These days some of my favorite recipes are:
- My banana bread without baking soda as it is a bit of a challenge to get it to rise properly.
- This amazing mexican sour cream dip with avocado – don’t tell anybody but sometimes I serve it as a main meal!
- A new additional to my cooking arsenal is my coconut macaroons with only 3 ingredients, super easy to make and oh so delicous.
- I taught my kids how to make pikelets and now they whip up these delicious treats for me after school.
